As someone who is constantly encouraging others to Find Their Focus, I find my own through journaling.
When my life had grown a bit too chaotic, I needed to find a happy medium in managing my daily tasks, family plans, long-term goals, and stress. I discovered journaling as an outlet to help me through.
Initially, I did some brain dumps from time to time in order to compartmentalize all the things on my to-do list, but I was not truly able to strike a balance with myself until I began to journal.
Here are what I see as some of the benefits of journaling…
- Reflection helps me make sense of life’s more complex issues
- I am able to see things from a different perspective when I write them down
- I generate new ideas each time I sit down to write
